you look fantastic and it sounds like everything went well!!! how fantastic that simon is here and being loved from the outside!! and i'm glad that ben loves him too =)

thanks for sharing your *whole* experience! its been so fun to read along as it happened!!!! take care of yourself! (when will you get to go home?)

p.s. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT YOU DIDN'T TEAR! SO NOT FAIR!!!

LOL, Janelle. I earned a "no tear" delivery after the carnage that Ben inflicted on his way out!! ;)

I believe I get to go home tomorrow morning... though I'm guessing if I asked, I could leave this evening. Trying to decide... I'd really like to sleep in my own bed... but then again, it was very nice having the nurses take Simon last night. ;)

Thank you so much for sharing your photo album. I love the picture of the whole family and the very sweet one with your tears. Priceless. When you have a baby you definitely go all out. I know your boys are going to enjoy growing up under your loving guidence. Deb

The one of you crying made me cry! I'm so happy for you! Maybe I'll actually get to meet him one day. ;)

Oh Simon is just adorable! Loved seeing the pictures of you all! Looks like Ben is already one proud big brother! I am so happy for you all! Congratulations again!

It was funny, reading your labor story ... when I got to the part about Simon's cord being wrapped around his neck and then the meconium, I started freaking out. But there you were, describing it in your typically fabulous journalistic style, interested but semi-detached. All I could think was, "Wow, she is hard-core that this is not bugging her!"

And then I looked at your pictures, and saw you and Tom looking down at Simon, probably for the first time, with you bawling your eyes out like a true, freaked-out mommy. When it comes to writing, apparently you are an excellent self-editor. ;)

Um, I was fine until I got to pic 8 and 10. Then *I* teared up. Such a handsome little family you grow, y'all!
