Next in Line...
My neighbor Jill is having her c-section in ten days. Several thoughts on this:
1) It seems like ten minutes ago I found out she was pregnant. Wow, that FLEW by. (I was pregnant too at the time, but it was with m/c #2... so I keep thinking had that one stuck, I'd be ready to blow too in about a month!! Weird!)
2) I had forgotten how big the baby/stomach gets at full-term, especially on someone who is about 5'2". Poor girl looks like she's about to pop. I feel huge already but I really and truly had blocked out just how much hugER I was going to get. (Jill is ALL belly though, she looks great) I, on the other hand, will continue to suffer from "round face". Bleh.
3) She doesn't know what the baby is! Fun! Also, her potential boy name is one of my absolute favorites that got vetoed by Tom: Liam. (sigh) I hope she uses it if it's a boy! Gosh I love that name... it'd be nice to be able to call *someone* Liam since I'll never get to use it for any of my own kids. Girl name? Chloe Jane. Though Chloe was never on my list (a friend used it for her dog and so I'm a little jaded) I heart that name too. I especially love Jane. How did Jane not make it onto my girl list?!!!
4) Of the neighborhood water-drinkers. I'm next. Shoot. It's bearing down on me and suddenly the mommy amnesia is lifting... Oh right! Childbirth HURTS! I remember now!

Hey, where did the other "Expecting Moms" links go??? I am too lazy to mark them as favorites, so I always come to your sight to link to them everyday. :(
Diana... working on trying to do a dropdown menu so it doesn't take up so much room on the side... under construction. I had NO idea how many people relied on clicking through this site for their pregnancy link fix until I deleted the links today. LOL! Sorry all!
I love Chloe Jane! I can attest that Jane makes an excellent middle name. If Jacob wouldn't been a girl he would have been Natalie Jane.
And...another of those things "they" say that you couldn't possibly believe until it turns out to be true... it really, really doesn't hurt as bad the second time around. Really.
