I had one of those speedy, second-trimester appointments today... weighed (a lot), pee check, heartbeat (ba boom!)... She was in the middle of saying, "See you next month and have a great new year!" when I had to interrupt to mention my sinus infection. Yay! She gave me Zythromiacin so I should be on the mend soon.

I also asked about the low placenta thing, but now I'm just confused because she said a low placenta ALWAYS moves up and doesn't endanger a vaginal delivery... but a placenta PREVIA does, though those can move up and out of the way too.
But the u/s tech said I'd have to come back at 32 weeks to make SURE it moved up or I'd need a c-section, so now I don't know if I just have a low placenta or a placenta previa... blah blah blah. The doctor didn't have my u/s results back yet, so she was in the dark anyway. I guess they won't send them until after Thursday. Argh.

There is way too much waiting involved in pregnancy...
