So funny that Dawn posted this today.
I was just getting ready to post that Ben finally learned how to say thank you!

Mind you, he doesn't actually SAY it, he still doesn't have a huge verbal vocabulary. But he SIGNS it and that's what we've been working on. For the longest time he REFUSED because well, after he would say sign "please", he got whatever he was asking for and he'd run off before I could even show him "thank you."

So I took another approach. I make him say please. Then, as I'm handing him whatever it is, I show him the sign for thank you and try to get him to do it before he actually takes the thing.

I have done it every time I've given him something for the past few days and today, it worked! It worked!

By gosh, my kid will have good manners if it kills me!
